Assignment: Create an AD Campaign for a brand of my choice, adding its product into 3 pieces of art.
Brainstorm and Decision: I researched many world-famous artworks to get inspired, but then I remembered my last visit to my hometown when I fell in love with the work of some Brazilian artists. I was particularly fond of the paintings by Gisele Ulisse, who portrays women in a delicate, elegant, and carefree manner. These qualities align well with Tiffany’s jewelry, reflecting the brand’s target audience.
Critique: The first version I presented to my classmates and professional guests on the course, showed a few problems. The typeface choice and placement were pointed out to me, and the fact that the woman appeared 'caged' within the square framing of the painting. (see the example at the end of the page)
Challenge: How can the painting capture and convey the carefree feeling it initially evoked in the viewer?
Solution: I used a brush effect to blend the painting into the white background gradually. Additionally, I flipped the painting of a woman holding a flower and utilized AI to recreate a portion of the flower that had been cropped out.
